Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed an early talent for athletics when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting ability at the time. After her first audition, she placed among the top two athletes at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix graduated from high school and subsequently signed an official contract with Adidas. In 2004 she began her studies at an institution called the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she was the youngest 200-meter world champion in the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, defeating her former Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo consistently placing within the top three of her competitions.
